T5 AND G3 TOGETHER?
Is there a way to get G3 and T5 Together in 1 dish? I have a 35" Fortec Dish.
Is there a place or a mod I can buy or make? Because the birds are very close to each other.

Re: T5 AND G3 TOGETHER?
Not possible since these 2 sats are 2 degs apart. If you are interested in get more sats, you might consider a h-h mount to move the dish.

Re: T5 AND G3 TOGETHER?
Another option is to use 2 LNBF's. I am getting ready to try this myself on AMC4 and T5, but since G3C and T5 are so close I don't know how well 2 LNBF's would work. I accidentally got both satellites at the same time on one LNBF, but it was very dependent upon weather and I have not been able to duplicate that lucky "accident" since.

Re: T5 AND G3 TOGETHER?
Multiple lnbfs on the same dish is not new, but for 2 degs aparts it's impossible to do so, even with 4 degs apart, you might need to use small lnbfs. Note: do not expect to get strong signal for the side lnbf since the focal length is not correct. It's Ok to do that for circular signal since DishNet sats are very strong. If one is interested in getting multiple sats, best way is still to use a H-H mount to move the dish.

I cruised onto a website somewhere that sold a little bracket adapter gizmo for putting 2 LNBs onto one 33" dish. I wonder if such a device would work for T5 and G3R...

Yeah, its possible. I did it once for T5 and G3R but the signal strength was pretty low -- a bigger dish would have improved the signal.

T5,AMC4 and G3C together
I have successfully acquired T5, AMC4 and G3C on one 76cm dish using two 0.3db and one 0.6db LNBF's. I just used some pipe attachments connected to the bolt of the main LNBF bracket and some box lid slider hardware to adjust the LNBF distance from the dish. True, they are crammed in together, but it works great. It just stinks though that all the Chinese channels moved from AMC4.

Now you can get all the Chinese channels on G3C, T5, and G13/H1 on one dish with the following two options:
1- Using a motorized dish.
2- Using a stationary Toroidal dish!

It's actually possible. I hired a cable guy to do my initial installation and he told me if I bought a powerful LNBF (what he showed me is one from Invacom, 0.3 db about $60 on ebay), he could set me up for Tel5 and Galaxy3. But I turned it down because I only wanted Galaxy3. With that LNBF, I guess you might have to use the switch to select different satellites. my 2 cents.

It's not about the quality of the lnbf. It's about the spacing between the 2 lnbfs. For 2 satellites with 2 degs apart, it's almost imposible unless you have a VERY smally lnbf type. Or if the installer thinks he can get both sats with one lnbf, then he has no clue what's he's talking....:-)
