TVB (USA) Inc. is the operator of the Jade Channel (cable service in Los Angeles & San Francisco), and the Jadeworld (nationwide) in the U.S.

Established in 1984 and incorporated in California, TVB (USA) is a wholly owned subsidiary of the TVB Group based out of Hong Kong. During the summer of 1984, TVB (USA) started its Jade Channel cable service targeting at the then new Chinese community of the Monterey Park area just outside of Los Angeles. In the few years that followed, the Jade Channel was carried by most cable systems throughout the San Gabriel Valley in Los Angeles. In 1991, TVB (USA) extended its Jade channel cable service coverage to include San Francisco. With the coming of age of satellite technology and customer demand from outside of California, the 24-hour Jade Channel Satellite Service was introduced in 1994 serving Chinese viewers all over the US.

24 hours of Satellite Broadcasting through 5 Channels

Whether you subscribe to either the Jade Channel through cable or via satellite, you will be entertained by the world renowned Chinese television programs from TVB in Hong Kong and also its sister service TVBS in Taiwan. You will enjoy the most popular drama series from Hong Kong in either Cantonese or Mandarin. Enjoy The trendy MTV and upbeat variety shows. Reminisce the classic drama series from the past and connect yourself with what's happening in Hong Kong and Taiwan everyday through our satellite delivered daily news and information programs.

In order to bring you the best selection of television programs and top picture and sound quality, TVB Satellite Platform Inc. launched Jadeworld in October 2000, which is an innovative 24-hour multi-channel satellite service. Viewers can choose from a wider variety of channels to view in their own homes. Starting from November 2002, Jadeworld is broadcast through DIRECTV, the number one satellite provider in the US, so that more people can take advantage of the all-around Chinese TV services that Jadeworld has to offer. It's now easier than ever to order Jadeworld service!

TVB (USA) as a business partner to advertisers, mainstream or Chinese alike, has the ability to offer three separate vehicles for advertisers to showcase and promote their products and services focusing on their respective target markets. These three different markets are Los Angeles, San Francisco and the entire US as a whole.

As we move forward, TVB (USA) is capitalizing on advanced broadcasting technology to better serve the ever-increasing Chinese immigrants here in the US by way of bringing in more satellite delivered programs and channels from both Hong Kong and Taiwan

AMC-4

8) AMC-4 has about 15 Chinese/Taiwanese channels. Some are clear and others are encrypted. You can also view some of the Chinese and Taiwanese channels on streaming video on the Web. http://wwitv.com

Here is how I set it up. My 70cm dish aim to AMC4 to get taipai interantional Channel. Then by facing the dish, I add another LNBF to the left and tight with a string. This addtionial LNBF receives NTDTV and MAC TV from T5 and CCTV4, CCTV9 from G3C satellite. I hold another LNBF to the right and get 4 Chinese channels from SatMex 5 Satellite but I can't make it stable to the right location. I add the lnbf to the left but not to the right.

HKHOHO...shay shay ni!!! Thank you my friend. I have done the same on my small dish to receive other satellites. I am going to try the additional LNB on my 90 cm dish that is aimed at AMC-4. I get MAC tv very well on AMC-4, but my wife will be very happy with a few more stations to select.
