no siq on c or ku

i got a geosat pro ck1 c/ku lnbf and a conical scalar ring kit with new 65 mm lnbf to replace the qph031 lnbf on a 1.2 m dish. got very good siq with the qph031 but cant get any Q with the new setup on linear or c-band. its on a 1.2 m dish motorized, baffle plate not installed, skew is at 0 , disq is working good linear on #1 port and c-band on # 2 port but no Q at all is there something i am doing wrong. and yes i have between 80 and 100% signal.

I can only suggest - I had better luck putting Cband on port 1 and Ku on port 2. (this is with a BSC621...)

    It's easy enough to try.

ok i did try that and it made no difference, but i did notice that the lnb arm has a slight bend in it as do others which makes the new lnbf point highter on the dish and not to the centre. also noticed that other dishs of the same name and size have a different arm without the slight bend, its maybe have to make a new bracket arm i would think??

is that a Fortec 1.2m dish?

If so - I do think your arm is bent.
My Fortec 1.2 does NOT have that bend in it...

thats what I meant - fortec star dish.

I don't know what to tell you.
Internet searches show Fortec Star 120cm dishes with NO bend in that arm...

    From Fortec home website:

ok if thats what it is, then a person should be able to make a new lnb arm (striaght one) for the new lnb if the dish is is of the same size correct, or am i wrong in thinking that. And if that is correct then i just need to get the dimen for the straight arm just a thought. what do you think.
