    C band Limits

Hi I have a 4dtv bud and the east west Limits are giving me fits I had to put a new actuator on it and do a reset now the dosh shows its position at 5000 when I move it the west limit goes to 5001 the position says 5000 I move it east it says position 5000 east limit 4999 even when I go far east or west Does Anyone have any way to fix this ? I thought that there may be a loose connection in the positioner wires so I checked that its good Any Help will Help Thanks Charlie

this is easy, on that same screen #3 "program satellite" hit enter-- now this is the way it should be done to reset all of you're satellite positions, when you have gotten to you're far east or west sat an it was programed, hit the "goback" an now you at back at the limit settings, if AMC-6 was you're last sat--high light "east limit" then move the east a few clicks, then just do the same for west limit.

if you have already programed you're sat location go to "limit setting" then #3 program satellites then call up you highest sat an high light "move dish to" push enter, when it gets their hit "goback" till you go back to limit screen high light "east limit" an move to east a click or 2, an just repeat to do west limit.

Check you're wire hook up to the reed switch an also at receiver, "pulse & ground" (to the right of motor terminal the 1s with screws) also if you had hook up the 5-volt to the reed at any time it will be toast or open. also check you're reed switch in the actuator with a ohm meter it should read about 3 to 5 ohms.
