reciever choice

If you had to go with 1 reciever which one of these 3 would you choose Undien 4500 Undien 4800 or Toshiba trx-80. which would you choose and why?

I would go with one of the undien have a 4600 for 15 years now and have never had a problem with it and the menus on the undien are very straight forward.

I would go Uniden as well. Again has been around for many years. Read that as proven. Never have had a Toshiba receiver but there seem to be many coming out of the woodwork nowadays. I would think finding help from people online would be easier for the Uniden.

OK just did a quick search on undien and it appears there is a undien. I assumed a typo and you were referring to Uniden. If Uniden my post stands, if undien I have no info on that type of receiver.

I think it,s the same thing Steve they just allow for the misprint not everybody spell it the same.

Unidens are good. IMHO Drake is the Cadillac of C-band receivers but good luck finding any true survivors...

Toshiba built a nice unit - only trouble is their power supplies kept crapping out; much like The Houston Trakkers.
