Checklist
 i have been talking about putting up the big dish for a year and now i am closer than ever. i want to run my Fortec Classic with a VBox that i purchased. is there anything that i am missing? looking for any splitters or switches i might need to get this going. i have all the major components but just wanted to know if there was anything small i was missing? is there a diagram out there i can refer to? thanks

If you plan on running C and KU band on this dish you will need a disqec switch so you will only have 1 coax running to the receiver also you will need acuator wiring to run from the V Box to the actuator.

If you got the ribbon cable it will be included in it so you are good.

my lnbf is a BSC621 C/Ku. and now that i see it, seems like the pole maybe could have a little longer...

one thing for certain you shouldn't have any wind issue with the short pole.

that lnbf has built in switch, you wont need another one.
one RG-6 cable from your DVB receiver will do, along with the actuator signal and power wires.
But - if you are running a new cable, please do pull 2nd RG6 at same time.
If you do end up with a DC-II 4dtv receiver, you'll need separate Ku and C band cables.

he said he was running a ribbon cable so he should already have the 2 coax covered.

no it has a switch already built in. either a 22khz switch or a disqec switch.
