Actually, if you check out the company's website. It is NOT a satellite dish. This is a 3D display suited for game playing or entertainment purposes  .

I know it is a high end display. I was joking about the c-band dish thing.
This high resolution display is used for all the applications above including tele-conferencing with others.

It looks like good material for a dish and anytime you use a dish for anything but receiving sats in my eyes is the waste of a good dish. now i wonder how well the graphics would reflect a signal it would be cool to paint a dish like that.

Now kat you know does copper coils around my dish is to keep the snow and ice melted off,  but what could be better then have soemthing to help you watch the big game and provide the refreshments at the same time.

I actually saw a business that uses these over the weekend. We dropped in for a couple days of shopping and enjoying the rides at The Mall of America this weekend, and there is a store called A.C.E.S. which runs 8 flight simulators. They use these "dishes" to simulate the front view from the cockpit of their sims.
