Humpty Dumpty C-Band dish sat on a wall.....

Humpty Dumpty C-Band dish took a helluva fall

I have a 6 foot Fortec dish that I had bolted to a 30" high table to clear the roof. My TS is 38 degrees here in Minneapolis. It was fixed on G4....well tonight I tuned to G4 only to get nothing. All my other satellites work fine. Looked outside on the deck and DAMN

We had some strong winds here today and the dish (once again) biffed it off the table. Third time its fallen. Once it fell because it wasn't bolted down. Once the whole table tipped over with it. This time I was not so fortunate. There was 80 pounds of sand on it but I guess that didnt help

The table broke off from the frame and bent the hell out of the back pieces on the dish. Also dented the bottom of the dish but that's OK. Looks like its just a few pieces to replace

Now the big question is How do I fix this? Sadoun if you are reading this it looks like I only need those smaller brace bars. Do you have any extras laying around I could buy maybe?

Ouch!

Hope Sadoun can get you the replacement parts. When I first put up my current 10' Orbitron (HEAVY), I made the mistake of trying to lift the darn thing up on it's 9' AGL high pole by myself. I ended up losing control, and dropping the darn thing. I didn't cause damage like you got, but I think I got the thing slightly out of shape, which has been annoying me for over 11 years now. Hopefully you can get your dish back in like new condition.

well I went out and put my foot on the bottom on the "O" ring (where the dish panels set in) and grabbed the top and pushed.....those support braces are FLIMSY. I bent them back (almost) into shape...we'll see what happens

Iceberg

We have got the parts for your dish if you need them. Take a look at this picture and let me know in a PM or here what you need. I will put together a price plus S/H and let you know.

I would recommend you replace any damaged panels as well.
