Channel One School Broadcast?

--Hi, all. When I was in High School, we used to watch "Channel One", which was a news broadcast of sorts that came on once a week for 15 minutes, or so. Does anyone know what satellite/channel it comes on? I emailed Channel One about a month ago (yeah they are still in business), but they never emailed me back. So, does anyone know what satellite/channel it comes on? I know this is the 4DTV/Cband forum (Channel One is KU, FYI), but I didn't really know what forum to put this in, since it's not FTA, and not 4DTV/C band.

--I read somewhere on the 'net that Channel One uses "addressable" satellite receivers. What does addressable mean? Does it mean that there is some sort of encryption on the Channel One broadcast? If so, what kind of scrambling scheme do they use? One last thing. The KU satellite our school used, faced pretty much due south, but I looked at a chart I had and Channel One wasn't listed as being on any southern satellites. Thanks for you help.

Not Iranian Channel One

--For some reason, Channel One is highlighted in the above post (and probably this one too ). It says something about it being an Iranian 24 hour news channel. This is not what our school watched. The "American" Channel One was/is based in America.
