Dear friends, I have a 4dtv 920 receiver but when I put this in off during the night the receiver don't move automatically to g1 to the updates. Iput everything including "yes" in the respective menu but don't move. All is allright when I go to the satellites and setting this.

check over at satforums they have a very knowledgable 4 dtv crew over there. I don't have the 920 but the 922 and it works ok on moving auto for the nightly updates.

how do you verify it's "not moving"?

I have read there are issues getting guide updates from G1 in itself.
Is that your issue, the guide is not downloading?

- do you have valid subscription for something?
- do you have valid subscription to get the guide itself?

When you do a "rehit" request, does your hit counter move up?

Thanks for your help but the only reason of my problem was that I didn.t have a suscription. I suscribe to the spanish package in skyvision and all resolve.

is the dsr 920 useless without the original remote control? can u get replacements?
