NTD TV not found when searching on T5

When search channels from T5 at fq 11836 SR 20765, I was able to get all channels at this fq except NTD. Any idea? My receiver is IR 2000

What IR stands for? The name of the brand might be helpful.

Did you do a channel scan recently? This is a fairly new channel. Its parameters are:

11,836 freq; VER; 20,765 SR

If your receiver allows a manual PID entry; the VPID is 0043 and the APID is 0038.

Thanks Kat, I have found out the reason why I did not get it the first time. For some reason, NTD was listed as a scrambled channel by IR2000 receiver, and I only scanned FTA channels.

Ah yes.... I learned that lesson long ago. Always scan everything - FTA and scrambled - because sometimes the channels are listed as FTA but are not and vice versa... :roll:

but the NTDTV website say that is a FTA channel on telstar5.

Just checked it and its still free.

Lyngsat shows it as FTA too ---> http://www.lyngsat.com/ia5.html

but I can't lock that frequency; all others freq. from ia5 are ok.
what problem could be?

Check your frequency , it should be : TP 11836 SR : 20765 FEC : 2/3.

The TP, SR & FEC are ok. The signal is locked for 3 seconds and lost it.
