DSR 920 & digital reception

How do i set up my 920 to receive digital and not only analogue signal.
The manual of the box is not mush help.
Or do I need to subscribe before I can receive anything?

Your receiver need to be authorized but one that old should be. You need the VCII module installed. What specifically are you trying to watch? Do you have Ku capabilities?

I dont really have a channel to what I just want to know what i can see and waht i can not before i get rid of the box.

Try tuning to G1 150. You should show a not subbed screen. If you have that screen you can tune digital. After that you just go through each sat and channel until you find what is clear.

Channels

Go to NPS - Your One Call Solution - CBAND Satellite Programming C-band to see what channels are available in C-band analog, C-band digital and Ku band digital. BUD has more channels, especially movie channels than any small dish.
