Question on Digital for 920

Can you tell me if the DC Light has to be on for it to be a Digital channel? The DC Light does come on, on a lot of the channels! The reason I ask is when I go to NPS and look at their chart NPS - Your One Call Solution If you look at Galaxy-11 everything in gray color It does not come across my screen as if it never exists! (No banner no nothing) I would think for example what's on G11 would be called GB since the legend says DigiCipher for 4DTV. More or less confused... The stupide question would be is DigiCipher the digitals channels or are there differents? I've been searching all day for my answer.

Thanks

Digicipher

When the DC light is on you are on a transponder that has a 4dtv digital signal. Now if you are subscribed you will see the channel if not then you should see a screen saying your not subscribed. On some occasions I have seen a digicipher channel that would not show on screen. If you have Ku you want to avoid the Candian Anik birds with your 4dtv. Star Choice is using those Ku channels and are using a version of Digicpher that causes problems with the 4dtv recievers. Digicipher is not just for consumer use businesses use it also and those channels and they may not show up on your screen
