? Damaged in what way? If it's just that the threads are messed up, seems simpler to get a tap/die set, and run the proper die over the threads to clean them up. If it's broken or bent, maybe not. You can probably find a U-bolt that will fit somewhere, but usually when something like that happens to me, I just use regular bolts, and bend a piece of metal with multiple holes around the pole, and just run regular bolts through the holes. Not pretty, but simple and quick.
