I've noticed a similar problem. Two or three Galaxy-25 transponders do it.
Might be the size of the dish, or the pointing.....Galaxy-16, at 99 degrees (2 degrees away) has HITS ("Headend in the Sky") programming on the same polarity, at 11820 (V). Maybe it's getting in somehow. Cooler, moist air at night might explain it.
At times, I've had luck tweaking the dish while on that particular transponder, even though it looked to be peaked already.
