Lets say that I am a currently a dish
DTV/Network customers, should I be able just to use that subcribed smart card with this 9800 receiver without any activation? Another word should I be able to just insert the subed smart card into this 9800 receiver and be able to watch the authorized channels immediately (of course I need to point the dish to the right sattelite orbit) without the need of calling their customer service for activation? The way I understand is that we should be able to swap the DTV card to be used with this receiver, but it would not be possible to use the Dishnetwork card with this receiver since Dishnetwork requires the receiver to be authorized (activation) with the subed card. Am I correct? :?:
