I get the Italian stations on 43.0 West. I also happen to live in Chicago area so I am alot further East than you.
Puglia - Roma Uno - Veneto Free- Challenger Tv - etc.

You said your dish was stationary , so the fact that you can't enter West for your position shouldn't matter , if you had it motorized that be different.

Do You have (LOS) Line of Sight ?

The elevation for that satellite is very low , your dish will look like it's pointing at the ground.

Interestingly , have you ever thought of making a ghetto dish motor that is powered by hand , once you get the mast aimed correctly the dish will hit all sats by just turning the dish by hand, of course you need to have LOS.

What is your dish currently aimed at and what is the satellite furthest east from you that you have been able to get.
