We have a 5 foot dish with a stand in concrete on the ground, it is moveable or rather turnable, not automatically though.

Each party has its own (and different) analogue receiver in their flat , the signal from the dish is "multiplied" and boosted in the basement into each flat (with each 1 connection point). Some want to keep their analogue receiver, some want to go digital.

Since I am (obviously) an amateur in this field, I have no idea about the wiring. Is the mentioned RG6 only a recommondation or a requirement ?
Further I have no idea about the band ... I will try to figure it out.

So, my idea in general was: Use LNBs that can do analogue and digital at the same time on one dish., then also install a switch and booster that can do both analogue and digital. Resulting in leaving the choice of analogue or digital to each party, depending on the receiver type they hook up.

Sorry to have so many questions, but eveybody starts at some point!
