I can't imagine why the FCC would care about them using low power. That's none of the FCC's business.

Thanks for the above link though. That is very helpful. I've been wondering whether my local stations would revert to VHF or stay on their current UHF slots..... basically a question of whether I can tear down my big VHF/UHF antenna and just go with the little UHF-only one I got, and also it was mentioned on another forum that multipath could be an issue with the digital signals, and I get bad multipath here on VHF, while UHF seems free of multipath, so I was interested in what the local stations had planned.
Anyway, I found that 2 of the 4 local networks were going to abandon their VHF slots, and the other 2 will be returning to VHF. At least according to this "tentative" plan. Nice information though.
