the FTA DVB receiver can be used to control the switch for satellite selection. The problem is that the polarity (Left/Right) needs to be controlled by the FTA receiver as well, meaning if you want to watch DishNet/DirectTV channels on Vertical, you need to use the FTA to switch the voltage so that the lnbf is at Vertical polarity. If you are not familiar with FTA DVB stuff, you are now so confused. In my opinion, running 2 cables to each room will save you lot of headache, and forget about what I have said...:-)
