Let's slow down a bit. Is your dish setup as a staionary or motorized dish? Skew is very important, the farther away you get from center (true south) the more important it becomes. If it is wrong it can cause the situation you describe. Second on my list would be as Rainman has stated. 6' really is small for C Band. I would be hunting for the sats the guys with 4' dishes are getting first. That way at least you know it is sat being hit with a small dish and you get a feel for aligning the dish. Still need to know how you have the lnbf set up. C only/C & Ku?
