I'm not familiar with the
DTV "International Package", but it was my impression that it was the channels found on G3C Ku, which means that they must have supplied him with a dish big enough to receive regular linear Ku. So I'd guess that his dish WOULD be compatable. If that's the case, he should be able to receive the CCTV Chinese channels just by "T"ing off the DTV receiver with a DC block.
