The low noise number of the
Invacom lnbf is very attractive, particularly on signals that are not quite so strong as the norm. One of the primary attractions of having a standard linear lnb ( as opposed to a universal) is that a 22 khz switch can work with the standard ( universal uses 22 khz tone switching to change it's freq range, so it can't have a 22 khz switch in front of it ) . Using a 22 khz switch with an Invacom lnb, for example, allows you to have both a circular and linear signal go to the switch, then the output of the switch to a
Diseqc switch ( where it can be parallel to other fixed dish lnbfs, on the other inputs ) and the output of the Diseqc switch to your reciever. The receiver can then select any of the dishes/lnb's with different combinations of 22 khz tone "on/off" and Diseqc ports. You can build up a real tangled web that way, If you choose to.
