It is a nice lnbf because it does both linear and circular.
Re the standard vs universal thing, some like universal since it lets them get that low band used over the Atlantic. Other people like me, prefer standard, because it is compatable with analog and DCII receivers. Ie I slave a DCII receiver, and sometimes an analog receiver off my FTA receivers, and they all assume a 10750 LO freq rather than the 10600 used by the universal lnbfs.
