What I found out was that the setting I was previously using on the Platinum did not work with the ST3688. So stupid me went ahead and reset the SG2100 to work with the ST 3688. It work great until I try to use the other receiver. Needless to say I had to reset the Platinum all over again. Lucky for me this receiver has USAUL. What a time saver. I take it that I would have a better chance to make it work if both receivers were the same brand.

Thanks,
The brand shouldn't matter. What is important is that you use the same position number for each sat on both receivers. All the receiver does is tell the motor to go to what is saved in position # 27 in the motor or whatever number you have saved for that sat. But if you have a sat listed as #27 on one receiver, and as #28 on another receiver, then DiseqC won't work for one of them. USALS, on the other hand calculates the sat positions in the receiver, so you don't need to save anything on the motor.
