2 Receivers one SG2100

I was reading a post a while ago about running SG2100 motor with two different receivers. I'm curious to know how is done. I have the Fortec Platinum and a ST3688 and was messing around with them trying to give a go. What I found out was that the setting I was previously using on the Platinum did not work with the ST3688. So stupid me went ahead and reset the SG2100 to work with the ST 3688. It work great until I try to use the other receiver. Needless to say I had to reset the Platinum all over again. Lucky for me this receiver has USAUL. What a time saver. I take it that I would have a better chance to make it work if both receivers were the same brand.

Thanks,
