I ordered a 40" Fortec Star dish with a motor to get
VTV4 on 97w and the Vietnamese channel on 101. I tried looking for the signal for 3-4 hours until I finally gave up. I also have a satellite finder, didn't help much.
So I looked in my local Yellow Pages and called around. Got estimates for $85 service calls plus $50 per hour, these guys were trying to rip me off. Then I finally called this Vietnamese guy(also was listed in Yellow Pages) who installs FTA satellite systems.
This guy did it within minutes, without the satellite finder and only charged me $75. He set up both dishes, one for 97w(VTV4) and 101(the other Vietnamese channel) with no problems so I have a brand spankin new motor laying around. Kinda made me think that I didn't give it much effort, oh well what's done is done. If you can't do it yourself, take your time and look around for prices. There out there, you just gotta look.
