1. Make sure you don't accidently turn off the lnb power.
2. Don't trash it. Assuming the tunner is still good, you can slave it to a working receiver, so you can watch different channels on the same polarity, offcourse same satellite.
If you still insist to trash it, give it to me....:-), it'll pay the shipping cost....just kidding.
