Alright it seems to be going good now. I finally got to do a few tests.

To fill in some blanks up above, I started out using SNH-031 and switch to a QPH-31.

With out knowing to change the LNB type from 9750.10600 to the correct 10750 and 22 on and port number. (Took it for granted that it was the same lnbf -just a quad with C and L. and that the stb would make it all tick.)

Since I've found all that out, then I made the first post above.

Heres some of the things I've done:
When I first hooked up the quad, I had chnls off the bat. (Don't remember which sats.) I then checked some of the other sats. I seen that some chnls were there and some were all blacked out, so I done a new blind scan, and it made duplicates of the chnls. The new scan chnls work, so I deleted out the old that was black, except that I had old chnls that was not replace in the new blind scan. Now I made all my scans at first using the Lnb type- univ 9550.10600. Then after reading here found to change the lnb type, then found out about the 22khz. But still after the new settings and with new blind scans, what was IA6 was not working. So I went ahead with the new name change download and reset to factory, this time everything was working that I've have scan. I got sat 93, 97, and 95. I will try more later.

Thanks for all the help.
