I have a 301 and a 5000. When I go to the spotbeam that has my locals, on the 301 my signal is 125, but on the 5000 it peaks at 101 (both on a scale of 125). This happens on all satellites and all TP's.
There is no problem..the older receivers somehow just do that (low reading)

This is true on ExpressVu receivers as well; I'm glad I'm not the only one to notice this. The strength on the 3100s and 5800's always read higher than on the older 2700s and the
really old model 4000 that I run at the shop.
