I know that you're probably right, but there was no discussion of any pirate activity. The original poster's discussion was all about alignment, and never mentioned pirating. The more recent message sounded more suspicious to me, since it mentioned "software".
But I just don't think we need to jump on any post that mentions a DBS sat. I have viewed unencrypted programming on at least 10 different DBS sats, and have used these sats to help with alignment. I also consider myself to be a "hacker", although not in the sense that it is used in this forum.
I think what this forum calls hacking should really be termed as "pirating", but that's another issue.
