I set up my FTA system a month ago. It was good fun, but boy do I have a slew of questions. I ordered the Motorized 80 dish with a 2100 motor and a
Mercury II receiver. I am located in Northern Virginia west of Leesburg.
I don't think I am perfectly aligned to the Clarke Belt, but I do receive satellites from 85 to 103. Its given me the bug to a point that I am thinking of getting more dishes.
Question: Can you hook up a motorized dish and a fixed dish to one receiver? And if so what equipment is needed?

Another note on
Sadoun's directions for installing a
motorized system. The directions on the website are much too vague for us noobies. They need to be more step by step, sort of like Dick and Jane, and with every move spelled out.
