The most effective way of having 3 TVs running off 2 receivers is to run two lines in from the dish - one to each receiver - no splitters - and then use a pair of diplexers to backfeed the RF down the coax feeding the IF to the 2nd receiver and feed it up the coax into the 3rd room TV - then buy a remote extender for the 2nd receiver's remote and take it into the 3rd room to change channels on the 2nd receiver. The only drawback to this method is that you must watch the same channel in rooms 2 and 3.
