I purchsed a Fortec star 6' Dish, Lifetime
Classic reciver and and BSC 621 C/Ku lnb.
I am trying to recive Amazonas @ 61w. The signal is
C-band 4.174Ghz
I have a signal which is fluctuating between 33 and 46 on the reciver. Is this a normal level for this reciver? Did i make a mistake and should have the 8' antenna?
Will a better LNB help.
So far the picture seems stable, watched it for about 15 minuets.
I tried messing with skew but the fluctuating signal makes it difficult to see if i have it peaked, the same goes for focal length.
As of now this is a one channel setup and wont be retuned for other satellites. Any input is apreciated.
