I had a similar problem, and also reviewed the poilicy, but manufacturer of my motor is in Slovenia, so I did call
Sadoun, and they took care of it very quickly.
Just call them first!

Warranty: 1 year manufacturer's warranty serviced by us. We only service Digipower SG2100 motor that has our sticker on it and with dated receipt."
In case they sold in past differently branded SG2100, call them anyway, to find out what to do
