I was still able to get some channels before resetting the receiver, though. If the LNB went bad, I would expect to get no channels, would I not?

Is it possible that the dish alignment would be off enough to prevent proper downloading, but close enough to allow me to see some TV channels? If so, I'll check it when it warms up & dries up a bit.
