Old dish network dish is not adequate for receiving FTA programming. Your receiver is not an issue here. Your dish is. If you fant to receive FTA programming fro sats like
IA5 and others, look into getting at least a 31" dish.
This has nothing to do with Directv so I am moving it an appropriate FTA forum.
As far as your statement regarding integrity of posters, majority of us here are honest people. Every now and then we get a surge of dishonest people, but we moderators here try our hardest to weed them out.
