Michael,
It turns out the
DiSEqC switch I have is a 4x1, which is not even open yet. I'll get another just like that in case I need to install more dishes. I have a feeling my neighbors might not like the look of more than 1 dish hanging on the side of my house. But I think I might be okay with just two.
I suppose with the
AC3 output coming from the DVB receiver, I also need some kind of decoder that takes the AC3 signal as the input, right? I have a five-year old Pineer stereo system with some 5 components, but I doubt it has an AC3 decoder. Eventually, I need to get a different big screen
HDTV with AC3/Dolby Digital 5.1 input so I don't have to turn on the stereo system everytime I watch TV with AC3. I have a five-year old Mitsubishi 45" projection TV, and I also doubt it has AC3 input. If I get the FORTEC Star Lifetime or 5900 unit, is there a way that I can make the sound output to my Mitsubishi TV without spending a lot more money?
Thanks,
Quang
