While all this talk and trials with smaller dishes for
C Band (there are some 5 - 6' dishes in use where I live) is very interesting I just come from the old school. Bigger is better. Really big fan of one piece spun alum dishes. If I had my way I would have 15 or maybe even 18' dishes in the yard
I am starting to lean towards cosmetics though so having the 2 8.5' mesh dishes on opposing sides of the yard pointed in opposite directions does make for a cleaner visual
Just need to paint them to match.
