One of these days I'll put it all together, and do an in depth review rather than ad-hoc comments.
There is no adjustment of the feedhorn part, as that is integral to the LNB in itself.
I did read that the flat scalar ring was designed for the prime focus dishes, and using this LNBF for an offset dish required the use of a conical scalar ring. VJ9999 and I did this same project around the same time, and he mentioned he was using the conical one, so I didnt even attempt to use the flat one that came with the LNBF. I just bought one when I bought the LNBF so I installed both at the same time.
There is some
C-band DVB out there, but really need a bigger dish to get the full potential of receiving it. There are listings on Lyngsat that I just dont get a peep from on the Ultra.
Integrating an analog receiver does open up things to more stuff, but it's not a clean solution when it's slaved off the Ultra. It's back & forth between the 2 units to look for stations.
