I agree with Rainman. They are good dishes, but heavy. I think there is one person on this forum who got one working with I think an HH120, but I think you have to strip it down as much as possible, and also try to get the center of gravity as close to the rotation axis of the motor as possible.

It is possible to modify one for a big dish mount (if you can find one) as well. I've run into a couple people who have done this. There is one current thread over at Satforums where a fellow has done this.

As you see, he had to turn the primestar mount upside down, and weld a pipe onto the big dish mount to accept it. The little dish motors have a bent shaft coming out of the motor, which would allow you not to have to turn the dish mount upside down with some motors, although I think you might be better off with a motor where the shaft goes up instead of down, if you try a small dish motor.
I used to have one of those Primestar dishes, but unfortunately gave it away several years ago to some hams who wanted to use it for amsat stuff.
I wish I still had it. I could put it to good use now.
