I get the connection correctly but the light on SG2100 doesn't come on. I try many different cables RG6, the light still doesn't come on. since i lose my BEC6600+ manuals, i don't know if i have to do anything in the receiver to send the power to SG2100. So, i guess my SG2100 is dead??? i also notice that when finish connecting the cables, i plug the power cable into BEC6600+, the clicking noise starts, i think this noise comes from the receiver. I do open up the SG2100 and BEC6600, and everything looks clean, no burn, no black mark. So, not sure what's wrong with SG2100. Can anyone give me some suggestions? i'd really appreciate.
I'd recommend getting a VOM and check to make sure that your coax isn't shorted. Particularly, perhaps the center wire got bent over and shorted where it plugs into the motor or lnbf. If you have one of those little hand held signal meters, you should be able to make that squeal even if not pointed at a sat, provided that voltage is getting to the lnbf. My guess is that you aren't getting voltage either to or through the motor.
