I recently got my hands on a
Twinhan Starbox II. I cannot get it to receive any signal from my existing dish which is pointed at Echostar 7. I know that the dish is properly aligned because it is also hooked up to my P4 which has a Twinhan 102g PCI card working with My Theatre. I am trying to set up the Starbox II usb to work with my new Duo Core, 1gb RAM laptop; I have installed the drivers from the Starbox install CD, and have installed the newest trial version download of My Theatre, loaded the vplug 1.38 plugins from my desktop P4. I don't think that My Theatre is the problem with the laptop setup because I am not getting any signal strength or quality when I look at these on the installed Twinhan software.
Can anyone who has theirs working offer some advice on what I can do to get the Starbox working?
