You are NOT receiving C-band. You cannot receive C-band unless you have a C-band LNB. The thing is, that a C-band LNB converts 3700-4200 MHz, and sends it to your receiver in the 950-1450 band. Your Ku LNB sends the 11700-12200 (or different band for universal lnbfs) band down on the same 950-1450 band. So your receiver can't tell the difference between a C-band signal and a Ku signal. When you set your receiver to either C or Ku, it is just setting the calculation for the LO freq, but it is still looking for the signals in the same 950-1450 MHz band.
So the reason you are getting duplicates is because they are the same Ku signals.

Sorry. I know you were probably happy to be getting C-band, but that's not the case.
