Relax it is there
With your dish pointed at 79 per commands from the receiver slowly rotate the dish east to west until you find something. If you do not find anything raise the dish elevation 1 degree and repeat. Repeat this process until you locate the sat. Once you have located it peak signal with east to west movement of the assembly and then with dish elevation.
Verify your motor setting is on the latitude side of the motor and that it is set equal to your latitude. The motor has 2 scales, one is latitude and the other is elevation. They are not the same. You should be using a small TV and the receiver out at the dish for this setup phase. It makes life far easier.
Did I mention move slowly? Be sure to move in small increments. 1/8" can make or break signal.
