I purchased a 1 meter Fortec Star Dish SG 2100 Motor and
Invacom LNB 2 weeks ago. I cannot get it all to work automatically. My due south satellite is Sat 97. Installed the dish on my roof and the SG 2100 motor even in manual mode is labouring when driven from east to west. The motor seems to cut out at times when trying to manually drive it. Have a ViewSat Extreme FTA box and someone even told me that this dish is not compatable with a ViewSat. Is this true?
Also the Dealer here in Canada is insisting I spend $60.00 more and trade in the SG 2100 motor for a
Stab HH 120 Motor!! He says the SG 2100 motor is underpowered for this 1 meter dish, and can't understand why the local dealer sold me the SG 2100 motor. But will the Stab HH 120 motor work with the ViewSat?
