Just found forum, and seems like a friendly, insightful environment. I have a 3 year old Directv system (2 RCA receivers), and will be moving to a new home about 100 miles away (Albemarle, NC). New home has TWC, and a nude mast, from where the existing dish was removed when cable was installed. Considering both Dish and Directv. TWC is an option, as my land line does not support DSL, so high speed internet will have to be either RR or via satellite.
This site has good information, some of which I comprehend, as I tweeked my Directv dish after new roof was installed last year. I have about three weeks before I will be in the new house, so am trying to make up my mind on which service to use, and buying versus leasing. No
HDTV right now, but it is imminent for the new house.
