Sorry, I'm not familiar with how they work. Neat feedhorn though. People say that they give a higher quality signal than the polarotor versions, although I guess you don't get the ability to fine tune polarity.
I hope that you just loosely connected your LNBs, as it doesn't look like they are bolted on securely. Don't forget to tighten them up before you put the thing up, or water will get in. Sounds obvious, but I did that once. Ie I bought a used dish once, and wasn't quite ready to install it, but I didn't want to lose the parts, so I loosely assembled the thing, just by hand, then later, I took it outside and put it on a dish that wasn't yet mounted on a pole. Then the thing sat for many months in the rain and snow, and when I finally hooked the thing up to a coax, I realized that I never tightened down the LNBs, and the wave guides were all wet inside.
