Dear Mariam, I believe you might be mistaken about these two items. We don't sell open box items as new. In fact, these two high quality items in particular rarely come back from customers and we don't carry any used ones. We separate any open or returned items on a completely separate shelf from new ones.
I have seen many
installers not familiar with installing a motor or a "UNIVERSAL" lnbf usually blame these two items for their inability to install the system. In 99% of the time, these items have nothing wrong with it. I would highly recommend you read the tips on hiring an installer here:
