How is it possible..

To determine if the reciever has gone bad...

I put up my system in July and could only get 4 sats (I have lots and lots of trees).. So I put everything away in the garage and waited till now to see what all I would get (with all the leaves off, then I could get the chainsaw out)...

I hooked it all back up, reaimed, and ....nothing.... Nothing at all... tried to aim manually (without rotor), and nothing.. not even a singal jumping to 12 or 13.....

While I was playing, I plugged the coax into the receiver with the receiver on (I know, stupid).... So I figured I might have killed the LNB, .. I ordered and received a new one today from Sadoun, and again Nothing.....

Could the receiver be bad or could it be something else. Coax or could it be the dish???????

STUMPED and ready to quit.. (of course, not really)
